Description

Word 2007 is one of the best word processors and one of the most used business applications in every office. This course is designed to bring beginning users to a high level of comfort and proficiency. Even if you have taken Word in the past you may want to take Word 2007. Many things have changed both in the user interface as well as in the functionality.

Prerequisites

  • Students must be comfortable using the computer to do simple tasks such as checking email, navigate to and open files and use the web.
  • Students learning via distance education will need a working copy (trial version is fine) of Word 2007.
  • Students learning via distance education will need internet access and the ability to maintain a working connection to the meeting.

This course helps prepare you for the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist credential (exam 70-601). In addition to learning the material presented in this course you will also want to spend a good amount of time using the application to become very comfortable before taking the exam.
