Microsoft Publisher 2003

Description

Microsoft's Publisher 2003 is a very basic desktop publishing tool. Publisher is often used in an office and home setting for simple publications such as tri-folds or flyers. It handles page layout much better than Word and allows more flexibility in placement of text and graphics. If you are interested in more complex projects, professional desktop publishing, or just want a real challenge consider Adobe's InDesign.

Prerequisites

You will need to be quite comfortable with Windows and Microsoft Word or a similar word processor. Since Publisher builds on and uses Word, all three levels of Word are recommended before taking Publisher. Students are expected to have a reasonable proficiency with the computer at least equivalent to the IC3 certification.
