Adobe LiveCycle Designer

Description

Adobe's LiveCycle Designer is the ultimate in creating and managing forms of any kind. This 1-day class is designed for the person who wants to begin designing forms. You will learn how to use the LiveCycle Designer and be introduced to the scripting and development which is required for implementation of the forms.

This is not an entry-level course. If you are considering this course it is most likely your employer has this system and you are already somewhat familiar with it. Please be familiar with this software and have some idea of what you are getting into. Prerequisites

Prior to taking LiveCycle Designer you should be comfortable with Adobe Acrobat and form creation in that application. Programming languages such as JavaScript and XML are often referred to and many examples are shown in this class. Knowledge of these languages are not essential for basic form creation but the more you know the more you will be able to advance in your forms work. We will not be covering XML or JavaScript basics in this class.

Software Required

If you are taking this course as part of the Personal Pace Program you will need a working current copy (trial is fine) of LiveCycle Designer. LiveCycle Designer is usually installed as part of Adobe Acrobat Professional and Pro Extended for Windows. It is also available as a stand-alone application under the LiveCycle ES system. LiveCycle Designer is not available yet for the Mac version (watch the next version of InDesign). If you have questions please feel free to all us.
