Introduction to Desktop Publishing
Description
Introduction to Desktop Publishing is intended to "fill in the gaps". Most of the courses you will take in your Desktop Publishing (DTP) sequence are very application specific. This intro will to give you some practical guidance on the business and help you avoid some common pitfals. This is a two-day course.
Prerequisites
Students are expected to have a reasonable proficiency with the computer at least equivalent to the IC3 certification and should have, at least, a basic understanding of the software you will be using (InDesign, Scribus, Quark, etc.).
