Description
SawyerTraining offers several career oriented certificate tracks. All of these certificates are focused on providing a solid, well rounded, and practical hands-on education in the student's chosen field. We offer the widest selection and most comprehensive technology certificates you will find anywhere. Additionally, all of our Microsoft Office and Vista courses track to and prepare you to take the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist.
Note that certificates differ from certifications. Most community colleges and technical schools (including us) offer certificates which show that you have completed a certain number or sequence of courses. Many employers like this, especially when the certificate title lines up with a job title or description. Certifications, however, are granted by a software vendor (such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or Adobe) and are based on an exam which is delivered by a testing center such as Certiport, Prometric, or Pearson Vue. Several of our Microsoft and Adobe courses are tracked to their corresponding certification exam and will help prepare you to take the test. If you plan to pursue these exams let us know so we can help guide your study appropriately.
